Survey Options
All schools that return a signed contract to oversample or customize by FEBRUARY 29 will be entered for a chance to win our Survey Results Package, valued at $3,425! The Chronicle and ModernThink are committed to keeping the program free for all applicants. We are also committed to gathering the highest quality data possible, which is why the program has by far the largest sample size of any recognition program in the country, ranging from 400 to 600 depending on institution size. To help achieve both of these goals, the free survey sample includes Administrators, Faculty and Exempt Professional Staff. If your institution would like to capitalize on its participation in this program and leverage a survey instrument designed specifically for Higher Education, there are several options to customize your experience. - Oversampling – Increase your random sample size among the three Job Categories included in the program: Faculty, Administrators and Exempt (Salaried) Professional Staff. Click here to learn more.
- Include Non-Exempt Staff in the Survey Audience – Expand your survey audience to include a random selection of Non-Exempt (Hourly) Staff. Click here to learn more.
- Survey Entire Workforce and customize survey instrument – Go beyond a random sample for your survey and assess your entire workforce. Your survey audience could include Non-exempt Staff, Adjuncts, part-time staff and/or contract employees. As part of this option you will have the opportunity to add statements, questions and demographics specific to your institution and delve into detailed, custom reporting and analysis. Many institutions find this an extremly valuable exercise to integrate into existing survey programs, strategic planning initiatives, and/or accreditation self studies. Click here to learn more.
- Consortia Participation-Peer Benchmarking – Compare your results to your most meaningful peers, whether that’s within an association, consortium, informal or formal affiliate group or even a system. Discounts apply for group participation. Click here to learn how.
